Celestial Heirs, a Space Age interpretation of the Bible, is the result of four decades of scientific and biblical research by Lee Gladden, PhD and Vivianne Cervantes Gladden, PhD. Its predecessor, Heirs of the Gods, a Space Age Interpretation of the Bible, was published by Rawson Wade Inc. of New York in 1978. It received enthusiastic press reviews, and its authors were interviewed by radio and television talk show hosts across the nation.
Celestial Heirs resolves many of the alleged conflicts between science and religion still debated today. In doing so it provides a scientifically grounded worldview that supports the Bible's age-old answers to those ultimate questions of human existence: "Where do I come from?", "Why am I here?", and "Where am I going?"

The Gladdens, now in the tenth decade of life, have, for over half a century, taught and practiced in the fields of health and aging. Lee Gladden, Ph.D, is Professor Emeritus of philosophy and psychology and a researcher in Parapsychology. Vivianne Cervantes Gladden, Ph.D, a former international model and actress, has earned degrees in health science and biblical studies and is ordained to the ministry. The Gladdens have lived and practiced in Southern California.
